I have constipation. Normally thin stools, I just feel that my bowels are not moving properly. The stool is always loose, so it's not because I don't eat enough fibre or vegetables.
I have also had a thyroid problem diagnosed, it was overactive.. the symptom for that would be the opposite ie diarrhoea, not constipation.. Anyway then it was underactive because of the medication, but it is supposed to be OK now.
I get cramps and bloating and it's horrible.
My GP suggested that it could be candida.. Beforehand I had been told it's IBS C.
Been on the candida diet now for 3 weeks almost, which is terrible as you can't eat carbohydrates and I don't think anyone can live on just vegetables and eggs and meat..
Anyway any suggestions whether I could find out for sure if it's candida. Can candida cause slow transit time ie thin stools?
I just wish I was healthy again. My trouble started one and a half years ago, any suggestion from anyone?
