I have an ongoing systemic Candida Overgrowth, and I've read that raw apple cider vinegar kills it but when I went to the health food store to buy it, the lady there said definitely not, that's it's fulln of yeast. So...?

Ok I'm new to this and can't work out how to respond to responses but... Dave I don't particularly appreciate you patronising me, so if you can't be helpful, refrain from posting. Yes, I have had it diagnosed by a professional. I was simply looking at other treatments to speed up the process. So hop off your high horse and don't be so quick to assume.

I'm trying to figure this out. I have mild-very mild- acne, so after checking out and reading articles with the use of homeopathy, naturopathy, western medicince, ect, I've come to these possibilites of causes:
1. Hormones - Puberty especially...testosterone may be too high which messes a whole lot of things up with sebum production I believe??
2. Liver isn't functioning right and some how testosterone is converted into DHT.
3. Way to many androgens in one.
4. Yeast-Candida Overgrowth in gut.
5. Skin reaction to clorine-Cloracne
6. Parasitic activity in one.
7. Leaky Gut Syndrome is causing food things (lipids?) to leak into bloodstream messing up skin.
8. Way to much sebum coming out of ones skin.
9. Stress
10. Genetics-predisposed..but how--hormones?
11. Iodine-may be expelled through skin.
12. Adrenal problem.
13.Fatty foods full of saturated fats/trans fat causing the oil to be dirty.
14. Wiping/touching face with dirty hands a lot
15. Impure blood so to speak...(liver problem)
Out of room, that's all I can think of..maybe I'm missing something. So lets see..things that may help:
EPA/DHA from fish/flax oil
Zinc, Vitamin A, B-complex, no dairy, no starches, probiotics, superfoods, unprocessed, no sugars, herbs: chasteberry, dandelion root, burdock root, saw palmetto, milk thistle, oregon grape root...Skin topicals: oatmeal or rasberry...Apple cider vinegar too.
Lots of water, sleep, don't touch face,

C'mon what else am I missing??

June 28, 2010

Hi all
I have heard that apple cider vinegar is fantastic to lower yeast in our bodies, so I’ve been taking it for a few days now whilst on the "candida diet".
The thing is I have yeast infection-like symptoms now (which I read could happen as the body gets rid of yeast).
Can anyone else [...]
