During times of stress in my life in september, i woke up one morning and felt foggy. I could not focus, felt like i was stuck in low gear. For a week, the fog got worse and worse. I could not sleep at night, or eat very little for 2 days... thought i had a serious problem that had just hit me, but i moved on and thought it was nothing and attempted to carry on. I would go to work and i still felt tired. when it got busy, i work in fast food, i was in like a fog. on a concentration level from 0-10...i was about a 3. I got confused easily, felt like i was going to pass out, and felt spacy/dreamlike. i went to the doctor after battling a week of it. talked to my uncle, he battled the same problem for much of his life. him, my doctor, and myself...we all thought it was anxiety, until i read an article on Candida and i related to people who suffered from the same exact problems...THE SAME. I am a male so i do not get 'yeast infections' but i read that candida does occur in men, usually from allergies or stress and it attacks the nervous system/brain. has anyone else experienced problems such as this? Is it candida or anxiety, or a result of stress? Doctor did prescribe atarax and that did the trick.
