I was wondering if there was an at home treatment for dogs with yeast candida. I have a black lab with a severe case of the infection, but the vet only prescribes a canister of pills that have to be taken twice a day, administered every few months from the veterinary office, do not have a lasting affect if ceased to be administered and are really quite expensive.
I feel really bad for her, because she's lost almost all of her hair and her skin is... falling off?, but my parents say treatment is too expensive. Are there any alternatives?
