I actually am pretty sure I have bacterial vaginosis, but I got Nature's Cure homeopathic yeast control pills because they have yeast in them, which I figured would help. but it got me wondering... how in the heck is it supposed to work for a yeast infection??? I've seen other brands of remedies labeled "homeopathic" with candida yeast as a main ingredient, as well, so it's not just Nature's Cure being weird.
Homeopathy is based on the idea of curing illnesses etc. by taking what you are actually trying to cure ( a bit like the way vaccines work ). What you need to take is a probiotic with acidophilus and similar organisms. They are brilliant at preventing yeast infections if you are on antibiotics.
I don’t know how effective homeopatic remedies are for yeast infections. I know they can be quite effective for some problems but it always sounds weird to me the way they are supposed to work.
Some homeopathic remedies contain trace amounts of whatever agent is causing the condition. The materials are diluted in such a way that the body can recognize and defend against it to encourage immunity, kind of like a vaccine.
Homeopathic remedies rarely have negative side effects, and some people swear by them, so I would say give it a try. If you are not against taking other medications, there are a ton of things you can buy at the drugstore for a yeast infection but a doctor could best diagnose and recommend something to help treat it.

I just looked up that product online and apparently the yeast is diluted at 30 x. Do you know what that means? It means 1 part ‘ingredient’ to 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 water!* It says the same for all the other ingredients. In other words, you’ve bought a pack of sugar pills with nothing in them.
Homeopathy is based on the nonsensical idea that ‘like cures like’, which is why yeast is an ingredient but the other principal is that diluting a substance makes it more ‘potent’ – the exact opposite of what the laws of physics tell us and what we know to be true from everyday experience.
Homeopathy sometimes work as a placebo for placebo-responsive conditions. More often, ailments get better of their own accord (regression to mean) and people attribute their recovery to the homeopathic remedy they were taking.
The claim frequently made that homeopathic remedies work by ‘stimulating the body’s innate healing powers’, etc is simply not true.

I hear the best cure is putting plain yogurt down there because of the bacteria it contains. When I get yeast infections I eat yogurt, drink cranberry juice and take AZO
First of all, you should get a proper diagnosis to see if what you have going on is bacterial or fungal in origin. Bacterial vaginosis is caused by bacteria and a "yeast infection" is caused by an overgrowth of candida.
You will not get much relief from the homeopathic pills, unfortunately. You can put two to three drops of tea tree oil into a teaspoon of olive oil or almond oil or put two drops of tea tree oil onto a tampon instead. Tea tree oil is very effective and should help you start feeling better quickly. You can also take probiotic capsules with acidopholus – one capsule three times a day.

Monistat didn’t work for me.. my doctor prescribed me meds and it made even worst!
Despite when it manage to heal, the yeast infection will come back again (means it’s not fully cured).
I realized the only real cure for Yeast infection is doing the natural way so it won’t come back again!

I agree with the ND. Without proper diagnosis, you’re basically shooting in the dark at the proper remedy. You can read some of this info to see if your symptoms are more like a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis or not. Their symptoms sometimes are very similar, and the only way to tell the difference is by getting a culture taken.
