Candida – what to do now?

I've been battling candida for about three months now. As soon as I found out what had been making me feel awful for weeks, I started the candida diet. I then started taking garlic (twice a day), and a mixture called Yeast Cleanse, which had tea tree oil, pau d'arco, caprylic acid, and something else in it that I don't remember now. After a month of that, I switched to undecenoic acid, coconut oil, and pau d'arco tea (the coconut oil and tea twice a day, the acid whenever I ate). After a month of that, I've switched to black walnut and olive leaf extract, all the time on the candida diet. I've been taking probiotics right along, and I just started taking l-glutamine.

Here's my problem: Nothing has changed. My symptoms are still here, I still feel like crap. I'm sure my immune system is decreasing. I'm hungry all the time, but when I eat something - just about anything - I immediately feel bloated and sick. I've lost a lot of weight, and I can't afford to lose any weight at all.

I'm at my wit's end. I don't know what else to do, what "miracle cure" to try next. I'm tired of being afraid to eat, and I'm tired of being sick.

Keep up the Anti Candida Diet and the probiotics and glutamine…… ensure you also take a B complex supplement that includes all the B’s too ie ~ B1, B2, b3, B5, B6, B12, folic acid, choline, inositol, biotin, choline, PABA etc.etc….. they will help with your immunity, stress levels and digestive function …….. being hungry all the time indicates that you aren’t getting enough protein mate…… eat more organic nuts and seeds like almonds and sunflower seeds …… combine a handfull of those with organic lentils or beans at a meal and you have a complete protein without having to eat all that nasty animal protein ……….. red meat …… even lean red meat that is uncured and unsmoked was inflaming the situation for me …. red meat, as bizarre as that sounds, was the final piece of the jigsaw puzzle for moi …….. only when i went completely vegan and ditched the meat (i was already coeliac, lactose intolerant and soy and processed sugar intolerant) did my symptoms completely abate ……….. lentils or green beans cooked well to reduce the gassy side affects will fill you up when mixed with toasted organic almonds (organic to avoid the nasty sulfites and other chemicals they use to preserve them) …… they’ll also supply your brain with the fuel it needs to stop it frizzling and keep you regular……….. eat with loads of green vegies too and add cold pressed olive oil and a bit of rock salt for flavor.

try juicing your green vegies too to boost your energy, vitality and immunity levels like broccolli, celery and a pear for flavor …… juice it up and drink it up ………. before my stooopid juicer blew up i was cutting the end off a whole celery, adding half a head of broccolli and a pear …. put a clove or two of garlic in there too …… really is a powerfull natural antibiotic and bolsters liver functioning…… juicing it and drinking it ….. haha, it came to about a litre but sure does fire you up and get you moving……… juicing has the fabulous benefit of bypassing your digestion and being absorbed directly into your bloodstream …… instant energy and wellbeing i reckon.

you can do it….. sheesh, if i did anybody can.

    (((huggs)))

drink loads of water too and hang in there mate ……….;0)

    peace baby

Keep following the diet and take 20 drops, three times a day of oregano oil, you should see the difference in no time.

I’m not sure what the candida diet is like, but I advise my patients with candida to stay off all sugar, wheat, refined grains and dairy for 90 days minimum.

If you don’t want to deal with a Western MD, I would recommend for you to see help with an experienced acupuncturist. An acupuncturist will be able to assess your unique individual constitution and symptoms, and then create a treatment plan that will probably include acupuncture, herbs, and a detailed diet plan to help you fight this problem.

Every person and every body is different, so what works for one person may not work for another. So whatever supplements you are taking right now may just not be the right ones for your specific constitution, and an acupuncturist can make sure you get the correct herbs and supplements.

    Good Luck!!
