I have been on a Yeast-free diet combined with the Ultra Simple diet for one week (due to joint pains and hives from candida). On day 7 I woke up with a vaginal yeast infection. I have read that the dying yeast can cause fatigue, muscle aches and nausea to name a few...but nothing about yeast infections. I just want to know if this is going to keep recurring if I continue on this diet.

If you are simply not eating yeast, it should not affect you much. In fact, it should affect you so little that I’m not sure it would do anything at all. I scoff at the idea of a "dying yeast" problem, since bakers’/brewers’ yeast is a good source of B vitamins, and they have to die before you can extract the vitamins from them. Your body digests dying yeast as it does so many other things. The main causes of vaginal yeast infections are anything that upsets the acidity/alkalinity of the vaginal environment and antibiotics. Natural bacteria and natural yeasts co-exist in our environment and in a moist, nutrient-rich environment like the vagina hold each other at bay. You would do far better to look into probiotics, which enhances beneficial bacteria.
