I have a Candida overgrowth, what foods/meals can I eat?

Hi, I am aware I have a Candida Overgrowth inside. Which isn't pleasent to think about! I have also been diagnosed with Oral thrush, meaning further evidence to a candida overgrowth.

I am planning on going on a candida cleanse, in order to try and get rid of this overgrowth. I know I am not allowed any sugars, including fruit, no alcohol, yeast based food/drinks or dairy products.

Am I allowed Soya milk?
What about rice and rice crispies?

What I am really looking for is some suggested meals?

Any help would be great thanks!

I am not certified in giving this advice but this is my findings on this condition. Soy milk is fine; just check the label to ensure it does NOT contain added sugars or cornsyrup (should say 0g of sugar) and it is lactose free. You must avoid all starchy foods and processed foods including white rice, white pasta, white bread, cakes, cookies, etc. Eat lots of whole grains such as organic brown rice and whole grain breads again reading the labels to ensure sugar was not added. Eat lots of vegetables. Avoid salad dressings. Use olive oil and lemon juice. Chicken, meats, fish are fine. Avoid using soy sauce and other spices. Eating raw minced garlic and oregano oil are also powerful anti-bacterial foods. Basically avoid any and all processed foods (mostly packaged or convenient choices). They are loaded with preservatives, sugars, and other unnecessary harmful stuff. Choose whole, natural foods. Remember that even cheating once will reverse everything that you’ve worked hard for. By feeding the yeast sugar and alcohol, they just multiply again and you start from day one.
    G’luck!
